Lost Files

Dear all,
sorry to bother, but i am desperate....i have formatted my sd card in the mavic, and only after realized that the files did not properly copied to my macbook....it only created aliases (shortcuts) :-(

Now i purchased cardrescue to get them back, and it seems that it has worked, but the files cannot be opened....any idea ? Any other way to get them back ? Are they stored somewhere on the mavic ? I havent
flown since.....

Your help would be much appreciated.

I've managed to successfully recovery videos off an SD card using windows, using a flash recovery tool, can't remember the name but I can go fire up the PC if you want to know and access to a windows machine

Also do you have cached 1080 files on the phone? Not the best but at least you'll still have your footage if recovery fails completely

Now to the Windows tool, yes i have access to a windows PC and would very much appreciate your
input as to the tool you used.

I can't remember which was best, 2 are free, recover my files I bit torrented
