So I'm about 60 flights into my MA and learning on every flight, but a lost signal while flying off a lookout really spooked me. But it makes me ask
1/ would RTH eventually kick in and if so how long does it take.
as it all worked out fine in the end the phone connection seemed to be dodgy with a bit of a wiggle the connection was back and I hit the RTH this all took
approx 40sec which takes me back to the question how long before RTH would have kicked in if at all?
And here's a tip check for a build up of lint in the phone connection this was the cause in the end and totally preventable.
