This problem still persists. Now that I'm on vacations I'll try to test it better and simulate an alternation between Wifi/4G/no signal, I put my money on that network switch...

How did your flights go on your vacation?
I seem to have a very similar problem which have now made me doubt my Mavic Pro, in which I was previously having a very high trust and confidence with.

Never experienced again I guess some of the software updates solved it. But if you are still experiencing it, switch your phone to Airplane mode and try it again (I usually do, and it is safer, imagine you receive a call...).
