Low-res Thumbnails

Can someone please tell me where my Samsung Galaxy NOTE 8 phone does the MA1 stores all those low-res thumbnails, and how do I make it stop doing that? The phone shows dozens of thumbnails, but doesn't indicate what folder they're in. I don't have an idea what their purpose is either.

You shouldn't need the location since you can delete from within the app but if you need to you can check the path by opening the photo in the gallery, clicking the three dots at the top right and choosing details then it should show the full path. On my Galaxy Tab S3 the path is:

/internal storage/DJI/djo.go.v4/CACHE_IMAGE
