Just wondering if there are any pro photographers here who have opinions on how acceptable the RAW quality is on the Mavic Mini 2? Better than an iPhone 12 pro max (even with the computational logic)?

Yes, it's good enough - depending upon what your requirements are for clients' end results. But I can't compare it to an iPhone 12 Pro Max as I'd have no professional use for that phone.

The Mini 2 camera obviously has limitations, but if you work around these - playing to its good points - you'll be fine. My colleagues have been positively surprised by what we're capturing during exhaustive tests.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max with ProRaw is amazing in low light. The Mini 2 will not compare to the iPhone Pro Max shots but does a reasonable job. The Mini 2 has a fairly small sensor and doesn't have the computational logic of the iPhone so you can expect more noise / grain.

If you check this intro, lowlight looks impressive on this mini 2
