I happened to chance upon these LEDs for racing quadcopters. This looks a good solution for the Mavics and Sparks. Only thing though, is looking for a power solution similar to what Flytron has for the Strobon lights.

wow. i don’t know what to do with all those leds. But I was hypnotized by the video! ;)
