When putting the protective gimble on the M3E, should the camera be pointed forward or down?

I always try to get it facing forward. Been flying M3E since it was introduced and that has worked fine.

When putting the protective gimble on the M3E, should the camera be pointed forward or down?

I always face mine forward. On occasion, it's not been exactly forward, but haven't had any issues.
