I have a question for the group, is anyone else noticing the M3M taking a lot more pictures that other drones?
  • The first picture captured 36 AC’s with the Air2S with a GSD of 0.40 in/px at 150 feet.
  • The second picture captured 50 AC’s with the M3M with a GSD of 0.43 in/px at 120 feet
I know when capturing with a multispectral sensor you’ll have x5 for the TIFF files. With our image processing platform (Solvi.ag) we upload JEPEGs and TIFF separately.

The difference between the number of images is staggering. One ended up with 483 while the M3M took 3,438.

I don’t think the 30 feet altitude difference and additional 14 AC’s should produce an additional 2,955 images and we can’t figure out why the M3M is doing that (consistently).

Anyone else seeing this?

Maybe because its a faster processor , there able to tweak for a better results, like a computer with an advanced graphics card. What Software is this ?

Is your overlap the same? It looks as though the rows are much closer together on the 2nd photo.
