I've searched this, never finding a definitive answer "yes/no/depends"...
When flying MA2 in sport mode only, flying sideways, usually starting into, or at higher speeds...
I have noticed the gimbal "jumps" or catches at random, ruining the video shot.
Issue seems random but always in sport mode flying sideways.
Is this a defect, or a known issue?

Thanks in advance!

This is normal behavior. As the copter banks, the gimbal attempts to keep the props out of the shot, and it translates into the camera jumping as you described it. This is most noticeable in sports mode, but it can also happen in normal mode, especially if fighting a headwind. I wish this automatic behavior could be disabled in settings, but sadly, it cannot.

Thank You for the info!

I've had it happen fairly often in Normal mode with nill wind when doing sideways flight and at ~45 degrees to ground motion. Sometimes it has continued the jerky action for several seconds after I let go of the sticks. First time it was frightening, that it wouldn't stop and the craft might crash.

BTW the amount on wind shouldn't matter unless it has some turbulence.

PS Sorry, I didn't notice this was an Air 2 forum. The behaviour I was reporting is with a Mavic 2 Pro.
