So after putting the ND filter on and changing the relevant settings you leave the camera to adjust itself? That part wasn’t clear to me.

Only reason I ask is when I have tried this previously I can’t get the M.M reading close to 0 so bit confused. In the video his just seems to auto adjust but as he removes the phone screen recording it’s not clear to see what is happening.

Any explanation would be appreciated

So you put the ND filter onto the drones camera, and then alter the shutter speed MANUALLY yourself to try and get it as close as possible to that of double your recording frame rate.
its very likely that you wont be able to get exactly 0 on your meter reading, but you want it as close as you can get it,making sure the footage looks good.
