MA2 RC won’t connect to Mini 2

Updated the firmware on the Mavic Air 2 controller to make it recognize the Mini 2 drone.
Unfortunately the controller won’t bind with the Mini 2.
Anyone else have this problem ?

May be applicable to binding to a Mini 2.
In this case the MA2 drone is being bound to a MA2 RC. With the Mini 2, Id imagine it simply battery power button pressing in the same manner as with the MA2 drone.
