Maiden Flight!

Yippee! I finally got the flying machine in the air for about 20-25 minutes yesterday! Perfect weather...about 70+ degrees, sunny, NO wind! It flies like a dream. I was concerned about the precision of control movements, etc., since I'm a complete newb...but it felt really natural and precise. Easy to control.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the video engaged, so I have no idea what the thing saw while in the air! Next time, I'll take pictures!

Here's a toast to all the good folks here who have offered advice and suggestions...it is very much appreciated!

Glad you enjoyed your first flight. Take things slowly at first, practice lots
and any questions you have can be searched for on here, or asked. ??

Me too...one of these days! If we ever get out of the "Windy season"! Right now, I'm most concerned with just learning to fly (cue the Tom Petty...) and hopefully, later on, I'll learn more about modern photography! I haven't really messed with cameras since the '80s, and that was 35 mm film. Yes, I'm a dinosaur!
