Mainland China Mobile Phone Link Verification?

WTH? I had traveled to Mainland China with my Mavic, and received a screen with a prompt, before I can fly, I have to link my account to a Mainland China number. Didn't have one, of course. Now, I'm back in the US, and I'm still getting this prompt. So, I can't fly my Mavic Pro! Anyone else run into this?

I also had that after installing the DJI GO 4 app on my phone. I just cancelled / quit, closed the app, relaunched it and it never bothered me again. I live in South Africa, FWIW.

Well guys and gals, I'm sad to say that I have this very same problem on my new CrystalSky Ultra 7.85 running DJI Go 4 on my Mavic 2 Zoom. So if anyone thought this was solved by now on the latest hardware and software ... I'm here to tell you it's NOT. I've tried all these suggestions, and then some. Pretty dang annoying to live in Oregon, flying the newest drone, on the brightest screen, with the most current software ... and I can't get rid of a pop-up that's demanding my phone number in China.

Shame on DJI for not fixing this ... I'm seeing posts go back "years".
