They are not nearly as bad in the wind as you think.

I have been flying them on My Mavic Pro for nearly 2 years. My Mavic 2 Pro for months.
No real issues in the wind.

If you have Care Refresh and fly over water I think they're a good idea. You'll be able to send in the corpse.
