This Drone throws rear sensors not functioning.
I tried doing sensor Calibration with Assistant 2 and doing so the front box chase won't even work.
The screen lags and stops responding. Then catches up but the farther I get off center the less the sensors pick up the screen.
To get the reticle to move again I have to point the Drone back towards center.
I once got through to the back sensors and the line up routine and screens on the left show nothing.
When I received the Drone it needed firmware update. That did not go well. But finally finished.

On screen the sensor icon is full red. In settings sensor status says Temperalilly turned off.

Any ideas?

Update.
Found evidence of a pinched and severed at the edge rear sensors module.
I will be hopeful that once replaced the Calibrations will smooth out.

To eliminate one non-obvious variable, please ensure that it is the version of DJI Assistant 2 that is specifically named as being for Mavics, that you are using to calibrate the sensors of your Mavic 2 Pro, There are multiple versions of DJI Assistant 2, and by way of example, the older Mavic 1 Pro requires the DJI Assistant 2 version whose name does NOT include any reference to Mavics.

This obscure distinction dawned on me after repeated unsuccessful attempts to calibrate the sensors of my Mavic 2 Pro using the same DJI Assistant 2 version that worked just fine with my older Mavic 1 Pros.

Says for Consumer ……..and has worked on multiple Mavic 2 Pro drones fir me.

When the replacement sensor arrives, it will be a quick tell bcuz I can put in the battery with the top shell off and check calibrating smoothness.

My hope is with the rear ribbon back could have been why the entire process was glitchy.

This is a major surgery in progress. I am pulling up a chair to observe because, as the owner of two Mavic 2 Pros and one Mavic 2 Zoom, I know at some point I will be faced with the prospect of carrying out a similar procedure.

Those things will go bad even if you look at them funny I would try the new ribbon first BUT that whole board with sensors looks like it has some miles on it.
For 30 bucks you can save a headache and replace that too.

Any idea on how that ribbon cable received the damage?
Kid of tight spaces with no good visibility. Though, I just installed a good rear and side Obstacle Avoidance module. Powered and connected and there is no problems with it functioning now.
I booted up DJI assist 2 and all the calibration steps completed, earlier the reticle was choppy, laggy, and starting-stopping. Now smooth city.
