Why are the images so grainy? Full of noise.

Well it is the M2Z which has the same poor quality sensor as previous versions so grain noise, especially in the shadows is high. The last 2 show the severe limitation in dynamic range of the sensor as well (to be fair, even the M2Pro you absolutely have to AEB bracket shots like that too)

Im also wondering if it was auto exposure or similar forcing a higher ISO than was needed - i cant see EXIF on the images.
