Sometimes the video I see on my screen is pretty herky - jerky, not smoothly keeping up with the drone movements. Would the drone hacks FCC signal boost help eliminate this? I've made my observations with the drone well clear of any obstacles that might interfere with the signal coming to my monitor. Thanks for any advice.

At what distance?
That's the $64,000 dollar question. If you're doing long-range jollies (way past Line Of Sight): you will get attenuation and then signal dropout.

If you're getting signal attenuation at closer (and regulation) range: then D-H FCC BOOST will increase your signal strength to a noticeable degree but also leave it just within the legal maximum transmitter power defined by the FCC.

Certain Mavic 2's do have problems with really bad signal attenuation at close range - usually on the default wavelength (2.4 - 2.48gHz). You can counter this by manually switching to 5.8gHz in the transmission tab. This will give you a good strong control and video link when flying LOS.

I always fly VLOS, no long range jollies for me! This happens sometimes when I put the drone up 20 feet and yaw it around just to check all the controls. I will switch to 5.8 gHz next time and see what that does, and investigate the Drone Hack FCC boost as well. Thanks for the knowledge.

You're welcome.
