Mavic 2 Zoom, zoom limit question

I can't get my still camera to zoom past 48mm in my Mavic 2 Zoom. Is this a design limit or do I need some specific settings to zoom to 96mm? Note that I can zoom to 96mm in video mode unless I use 4k resolution, so that's another question - is there a way to zoom to 96mm in 4k mode? Thanks.

The specs for that lens are:
FOV: about 83° (24 mm); about 48° (48 mm）
35 mm Format Equivalent: 24-48 mm
Aperture: f/2.8 (24 mm)–f/3.8 (48 mm)

Anything beyond 48 mm is achieved with digital zoom.
