Mavic 3 battery Li-ion or LiPo?

Everywhere and references all say Mavic 3 uses a Lipo battery. Mine doesn't. A new change in manufacturing?

The correct term for LiPo is Lithium-Ion Polymer battery. My Mavic 2 batteries are labeled as Lithium Ion Polymer, they are what we call LiPo batteries.

A LiPo batter is a Li-ion. A Li-ion battery may not be a LiPo.

It's like saying a Toyoda Carolla is a car. But not every car is a Toyyoda carolla.

Labeling on the battery is technically correct.

Yes. All LiPo's (Lithium Polymer batteries) are lithium ion. You can think of them as a lithium ion polymer battery.

The reverse is not true however - all lithium ion batteries are not LiPo's.
