Mavic 3 Pro Cine: Why doesn't Spotlight work in 5K mode?

What am I missing? I was filming in 5K/30 in D-logM, and wanted to use the spotlight feature. After drawing the green box, I got a popup that said I cannot use the feature in my current filming mode. I switched to 4K and it worked fine.

That means you can’t use the feature in 5k

Because the imaging SoC doesn't have the horsepower to process 67% more pixels for image recognition and motion tracking, video noise reduction, color correction, and compression as well as a few other operations.

All of that is handled but the image processor (probably some version of an Ambarella chip, that's now 3 year old technology).
