New here. I've been running a phantom 4 pro for some general survey stuff for an engineering firm for maybe 7-8 years now. I'm starting to do more, and expand, and the Mavic 3E looks like the perfect step for me. Why is it a ghost? I've never had this much trouble finding an item on ebay, refurb, used.....even NEW. Am I missing something? I know the Matrice was announced as the next in line. But you cant get it yet...the price is high...i dont need all that...and I usually buy the "2nd best" used as the bang for the buck is usually high by doing that. (I do run into some Mavic 3t....but I dont need/want thermal)

Its very hard to get anything for the Enterprise and you are much better off with the mavic 3 pro and add your own lights ,or speaker or get the Wet Suit we offer an be able to fly in the Rain.

They are scarce. Keep a lookout as some are moving to the M4. I have a spare, brand new unit. But I'm not quite ready to let it go.

For mapping, the M3P is not near a replacement for the M3E unfortunately.
The RTK is the game changer , for the mapping , good call.

With a mechanical shutter, a 56× zoom camera, and an RTK module for centimeter-level precision, the Mavic 3E brings mapping and mission efficiency to new heights.

thank you. I'm just shocked they are that scarce. Ebay usually has SOMETHING. and this other guy sounds like a BOT lol. Do you think the lack of being able to get the M4 in the USA right now is the issue? Maybe used market floodgates will open once the M4 is for sale here? My phantom4 pro has some stress cracks around the motors. Nothing serious but I know its time to move on. Plus...using dronedeploy I'm having more and more issues of errors. I have to shut down everything, restart, sometimes 3 times...before the thing will accept the mission and take off.

wow....i've been looking for weeks and LITERALLY right after I responded to this post I found what I wanted on ebay. Fresh listing....mavic 3e, 2 batteries, RTK, charging hub, controller. 1 year of DJI care left. $3200. But its coming from australia shipped to me in USA so $100 shipping.

Congratulations.
Probably overpaid....but i've been looking for weeks. I'm seeing mavic 3 pro going for almost 3k.....so i figure the enterprise WITH rtk, 2 batteries...and still a year of warranty and care is worth almost 4k. Thanks guys. I'm new to the forums but plan to stick around.

Hopefully it doesn't get snagged for tariff. Who knows how that works with used gear from out of country. Note, if it has any warranty time left, you won't get that either. Not trying to be a downer. I hope it all works out!

Oh the warranty doesnt transfer? I did some googling and the DJI care refresh is bound to the unit, not the owner. So it looks like i do get the remainder of it.

Typically, warranty is only in the country of purchase. I'm not sure about the care policy. You can get an answer from DJI though.

I got my Matrice M30 surplus new from a surveying company in Australia. Cost $150 shipping and I got it in 3 days in Canada. Amazing! My Mavic 3E for surveying came from a surveying company in London, Ontario with 90 minutes of flight time. They had upgraded to a 350 RTK. It was a great deal I actually found on Facebook Marketplace LOL.

Nice!

How would you compare your m3e to the m30? I've been using drone deploy for my capture and metashape to process. But drone deploy has been really buggy on my phantom 4...lots of reboots before it will take off...random errors with the app when trying to start mission..etc.

There's no comparison. The M3E with it's mechanical shutter is faster and the photos have much less rolling shutter which really messes with the maps I create using the Matrice M30. For example, a conservation area that I regularly map documenting the restoration takes 45 minutes with the M30 at a maximum speed of 18 mph while the M3E does a better job in 15 minutes at 33 mph.

I use WEBodm for my work and I have much better output with the M3E. Although using either to run mapping missions has been smooth and glitch free. Especially useful with the M30 is that I can bring it back to switch batteries while I pause the mission and it goes right back to work. I haven't had to do that with the M3E since it can get my missions done with one battery so far LOL.

My M30 is best for inspection work since it's optical zoom camera is fantastic.

Wait ....you FLY 33mph while mapping with the m3e??? My phantom 4 pro starts getting blurry pics at anything over 15mph

Totally dependent on light conditions and height above ground. For example, here in Washington, in the winter, I have to use a shutter speed of around 1/400 to avoid the ISO having to go above 200 - 400. So, to avoid motion blur, I have to fly the M3e at about 10mph at 200 - 250 ft AGL.

Ahh okay....way above me. I'm flying At 125-130ft cause we are inspecting road cracks, ditches, etc. at that height my phantom doesn't like anything above like 10-11mph really. I'll have to learn what I can do with these same parameters on the m3e.
