At $3549, it's about 30% more than the $2700 or so figure from Asian sellers on eBay.

Do the Trump tariffs account for the difference? Has anyone heard a report of an actual purchase from Japan or China that included tariffs levied by US Customs?

I just purchased the creator combo from South Korea. The price was 3200 for the unit, 250 shipping and ALL fees, and sales tax. There were no more fees! Arrived in 4.5 days!! I read where most of the Japan purchases users were getting an additional bill from the shipper for approx. $450.00

$3,568.29 is what I paid after taxes. And I got another one for $3,574.30 total with taxes with some DJI ND filters included.​

Maybe little off topic, I am in the hunt for the RC 2 Pro; package I bought was the fly more combo, which comes with RC2. if anyone knows a good source where I could buy it for a reasonable price, as what I see on eBay is over $1200 which is more what I paid for my Air 3S. Let me know

If you are talking about the Creator Combo, I haven't seen a better NEW price anywhere than the lowest prices you find on eBay. Yep, they're going to be more expensive than your Air 3S, for sure. Unless you have a trip planned to visit Japan or maybe Canada.

I have the M4P drone, charger and 3 batteries, but remote that came with this "fly more combo" is the RC2. I am very happy with the drone itself, it is just the remote that I would want to upgrade to RC2 Pro. I see them on eBay, but asking $1200 (or more) for a freakin' remote only, I just find it too much. Like I said above, I paid less for Air 3S fly more combo package, that included drone, remote and 3 batteries.

Yes, my plan would be to see if I can get it in Canada for a reasonable price

Ok I see. MSRP on the RC Pro 2 is $999 so I doubt you will find any on eBay for lower than that price as you can imagine. You may want to call Camrise in NYC to see if they have any (or will be getting them) since it is now an option for Mini 4/5 flyers and Camrise often sells at MSRP but you have probably have to visit in store in person. Otherwise, you might get lucky on Amazon similar to how they had those early M5P "deals."

It's pricey, even the RC Pro 1 was pricey when it first launched.

You'll have more success by using the correct name for the controller, which is the RC Pro 2. There is no RC2 Pro or RC 2 Pro.

I wasn't offered the Allstate warranty on the 2 creators I got on eBay and State Farm has no drone insurance for my state. Plus, I have the B&H creator shipped to my home 30 days ago at $4650 tax free deal with a DJI warranty I was told. B&H now has them in stock to ship at $4999 and I got a return shipping label free from B&H that will expire in 10 days. Do you think I'm a fool to return it knowing I have 2 at $7000? Who is going to buy it for $5000! LOL (the shipping box is still sealed also with the B&H tape, so I never even opened the shipping box) And I just got a dental implant that is costing my family (parents are paying) for 12 grand! LOL one tooth.

I’m not so sure the Allstate warranty being offered by eBay will cover our drones. Every single time I went to put a drone in my cart and I added the Allstate warranty, it was listed a “Digital Camera Warranty”. If you click the “Learn More” to read what’s was actually covered, you might be surprised to see the following text regarding coverage for drones.
