Mavic 4 PRO - how are the ND filters by DJI / Freewell and Startrc

As you can see, there are screws on the drone.


The original DJI filters have metal plates, these would seem to be placed so as not to scratch the small screws placed under the filter (..Maybe also to discharge the electrostatic charges because of the energised eND PINs?)

First up those are not screws. They are spring balls, the balls are captured with a spring behind them.They are often used as detents which is what they are in this case. If you look at the metal tabs on the filter you can see a spot that is dished out for the ball to land and keeps the filter in place. Second I have the full set of Freewell filters, all 12 purchased on pre-order that shipped late June. All of them have the same metal tabs with detent in the filter as the M4P. I would at least contact Freewell to see why yours is different. Since yours is all plastic eventually the spring ball will wear into the plastic loosing any detent or locking capability.
