Mavic air 2 and skin

Love mine. I chose Wrapgrade due to better coverage than others and twice as thick. Still looks new. There are cheaper, but none better.

If your going to add something to the drone might as well make it functional and good looking.
So we think the Wet Suit offer a few more benefits than the skins but they both look great.

You can even add a wet suit over a skin to make a really tough looking drone
able to fly in the Rain /Snow and with complete battery and power button protection..

a skin is a good idea for several reasons ,
(1) it allows you to tell which is your drone ,if flying with others
(2) it helps to protect the drone and makes it easy to clean
(3) to a small extent it helps with seeing your drone when it is flying ,if not too far away, and for finding it,if you have had to land away from the home point

Recently took delivery of mine from Decalgirl, top quality material, loads of
designs to choose from and they will also print out your own design if you
can't find one you like on their site. I'm in the UK and delivery was only 5 days.
Love my new skin plus all the benefits mentioned above by Old Man Mavic. ??

Mines orange, like A.O. said, it's easier to see. Plus I started my business with an "orange pumpkin" so those are my brand colors...130311120_10218835660988271_2527452183376658292_n.jpg

I used Decalgirl and had them for 4 months before I got brave enough to install them. It’s easier than I expected but it will take a couple hours if you do it right. I notice I can see it better against a bright sky. Against a woodsy background, not so much.

Question. Just bought my first skin for my Mavic Mini. Is there any issue with the vinyl skin when put on the back (battery compartment)? From reading other threads I understand that the back of the Mavic Mini is where the Bluetooth signal is received? The vinyl doesn't inhibit the remote signal?

Also loved all the pics of these skinned out drones. They all look great.

Plastic shouldn't affect RF significantly, if at all.
