Mavic Air 2 Drone/Remote locator.

Hi everyone, wanted to check if any one else has issues with regards to the drone location relative to the remote found at the bottom center of the flyapp? What's the cause? Is it safe to fly even if this warns that it's not picking up the location?

Yea, that thing...

Mine was always red, which indicates that it can't read the phone's compass. Suddenly, it works. Wonder if an android update fixed it.

Anyhow, your drone works fine without it. I wasn't used to having it, coming from Go4, so it did not bother me any.

try calibrating your phone compass before flying. "Waving phone overhead in large figure 8". That cleared up my similar issue.
