Mavic Air 2 Hyperlapse duration 'upgrade'

I have been using the Hyperlapse on the Mavic 2 (my first drone) to film a demolition and construction project nearby for the last few months, it's been going well and I've learned a lot. However it appears that DJI have changed something and now the max duration of a Hyperlapse made with most android devices is 2 seconds! This is useless for me. Anyone else affected by this? I use a Samsung tab, is there a workaround? I'd appreciate any help/advice. DJI Support more or less said 'tough'.

I haven't used hyperlapse in a while now but the last time I used it was like a month ago with DJI Fly app.
The interval minimum was 2 seconds, and the duration maximum was 15 seconds I think.

Yes the change was more recent and doesn't seem to affect iPhones.

I haven't done a Hyperlapse in a month or so. I use an iPad, and a Galaxy phone, as well. I'm shooting later. I'll try one with my Galaxy and see what happens.

UPDATE: I've just updated gofly app to version 1.5.1(2025-official) and it seems to have corrected the issue i.e. duration options are back.

I use a Mavic 2 Pro, Smart Controller or Galaxy Note 10, 128 GB cards, latest versions, logged out/in to GO4 and am still limited to 2 - 3 seconds on a Hyperlapse Waypoints mission.

This post was discussing the Mavic Air 2, not the Mavic 2 series. Those two drones use completely different apps to fly. (Go 4 versus DJI Fly)
