Mavic air 2s status lights

Too bad DJI doesn't update their documentation. Worse, some things, like DJI fly, don't have any written documentation at all, at least not that I could find. It would be nice to be able to read about settings without having to fire up the drone and controller just to explore menu settings.

It may not be a lot but the DJI Air 2s user manual does have few pages just for the DJI Fly App.

User manual 2021.06 has 5 pages for the Fly app.
User manuals for most software now does not have details like 20 years ago when a user manual might have been hundreds of pages. Information is now available online...somewhere.

?? Air 2s Manual has 2 pages!!! Pages 40 and 40. It also has 4 pages that discuss the various buttons and modes for the controller, but nothing about the app.

Not true at all. Take a look at the user manuals for Davinci Resolve, for example. Their beginner guide is over 400 pages and their reference manual is over 3,500! That's for software that costs far, far less than an air 2S.

So please, since you know this area so well, tell me where?

It is true that vendors don't provide printed manuals, but they generally do provide a link to a pdf file.

400-page pdf file is nothing like the printed hundreds of pages which came with a program. Printed manuals have a great advantage.
As to where to find information online, just post a specific question and someone will give you directions, whether first hand, YouTube tutorial, or other information. Or you could do an internet search for the information.

IOW, you have no idea where or if there's any documentation. Why don't you just say that instead of trying to go in circles? Maybe you're not aware of it, but a decent manual, printed or pdf, can often show one functions/capabilities that the reader was not even aware of. That's why reading a manual is different from posting a question.
