Purchased my Mavic Air in February of 2018. Flew it a good bit right off, but as with all new things, lost interest and put it away. Just recently regained interest, so charged batteries and checked to see if it would connect to the DJI Go app that's been on my old Android since 2018. Surprisingly, it connected and I gave it a low altitude test flight.
I did some reading here on this fine forum and realized a lot of things have changed, including regulations regarding flying a drone. I figured it would be worth registering my drone again along with taking the TRUST test. I then purchased a Holy Stone RID for the Mavic Air and downloaded the Drone Go2 app and everything went well.
I'm 70 years old and not the sharpest tack in the box, but was surprised how easy it was from start to finish....unless I'm not finished yet. Just wanted to say hello and let you know about my little journey to get back in the air. Cheers form Houston, TX.
