Mavic Air Controller not charging.

Hi, this is my first post and I have a question about my Mavic Air Controller not charging. I've plugged it in as per normal, the batteries are charging ok but the RC's led lights are only lighting up two and one blinking when I press the power button. After a couple of seconds they go out.
I've recently downloaded the latest firmware and was wondering if it's anything to do with that (as per some other reports I've seen) or just a coincidence?
Any help would be appreciated.

Is this the first time this happened? It could be a broken micro USB port on your controller. Can you look inside the controller port and see if the tongue inside the Micro USB port has come loose?

I just checked and it seems fine.

I found the problem, it was the cable from the charging unit to the RC.
I tried my android phone cable and it's working fine.
I will take the lead back to the store as it's only 6 weeks old.
