mavic air features (asteroid, boomerang etc) available on the 2?

they show up under the product info page for the MP 2 on the main DJI site, so I assume that they have been added.

Yes. Dronie, Circle, Helix, Rocket, Boomerang, Asteroid, and Dolly Zoom (on Mavic 2 Zoom).
