Will using these leg extenders [ Extended Landing Gear Heightened Leg Support Protector For DJI Mavic Air Drone 6162116180848 | eBay ] that cover part of the front legs interfere with with the antenna signal?

They shouldn't as long as they don't have metal in them. I 3d printed a set for mine and haven't seen a noticeable difference.

Be careful I bought some off ebay and the ones that go on the rear arms when removing them pulled the leg cap off. I tossed em' in the trash and use nothing but a landing pad or hand launch and catch.

I would say anything you cover them up with will hinder signal some...

I recently wondered the same, then we had a nice snowfall and I wondered how I could safely take off and land above the snow so as to not damage the MA

I bought the Polar Pro leg extensions and while I like their filters, I did not like the legs. Way too hard to put on / take off, and I get that they need to be sturdy, but I felt like I would damage the drone taking them on/off all the time. I ended up returning them after I discovered how easy (and safe) the Air is to take off/land from the hand - it's all I do now.

No need to buy landing gear in my opinion, if you are OK with the hand landings.
