East Texas has 5 of the wildest state forest in the state. Beautiful area that still has many mysteries to be filmed.

I thought I read somewhere that we couldn't fly in state parks? I know national parks for sure but maybe I'm getting my wires crossed.

I'm curious where is the highest point I could take off from so I can be up as high as possible but under the 400 feet above ground rule in my area (which is pretty low).

I think if you’ll be 400 ft above take off point as that will register as zero when you take off.

exactly, so I'd love to find a tall hill or small mountain in my area (or even drive out to one if I need to) and take some nice footage from a take off height that has a lot to look at below it.
