Mavic Air remote iPhone connector

Hi,
Does anyone else have difficulty disconnecting an iPhone from the remote on a Mavic Air? I seem to struggle (I may be missing something obvious here), but only seem to be able to remove my phone from the controller by digging my finger nail into the rubber connector whilst jiggling my phone and pulling at the same time. Often the sole plug comes out with the phone, needing a fiddle to get it back where it belongs. It says something about the excellent build quality of Mavic drones, that this is the only issue I have!

I bought one of these and use the bottom USB port. I presume there's an Apple equivalent...

just joined this forum and recently bought a MA and was my only gripe too, great solution, do you bother to use a rubber plug to weather proof the redundant micro usb port? https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcingma...d=1548880792&sr=1-7&keywords=micro+usb+rubber

As recommended by others on this forum I have a Netdot magnetic connector tip stuck permanently in the micro USB connector.
