Mavic Air vs Mavic Air 2

It's Roborough roundabout by where Tesco is. Are you from Plymouth ?

Originally from just outside Falmouth, but mum moved to Crownhill from Newton Ferrers when Dad died (1981). Things have changed much since I was at school in Plymouth. The new road cutting the city in half for one thing. That Tesco is new, as is the roundabout. I can remember the Sperry factory about 1/2 mile from there, where you would bear right for Roborough downs, Crapstone and the cattle grid just as you hit the moor. There used to be a green, wooden hut cafe there on the left. I can't remember what it was called, just after the junction for Bickleigh.

I live literally just down the road from the green cafe. That’s called Dartmoor Diner now and is a really nice restaurant. I live in Belliver.

When I am coming down I will have to give you a shout. My brother lives in Plympton. We will be down to visit him before Xmas.

I have the Mavic Air - It is a great drone...but you will wish you had the Mavic Air 2 for the battery improvement alone.

I have got 5x batteries for my Air, and it takes one of them just to get it setup for flying and photography. I bank on a maximum of 15 minutes each battery and that is without sending pictures to the controller, just viewing and recording to sort out later.

I've flown both, and as everyone else has point out, the 2 is better in every way. It's a bit bigger, but still far more portable than Phantoms, for instance. I really noticed better image quality and more depth to the files - for instance, highlights didn't blow out as badly.
