Mavic decided to take itself off.

interesting... so i took off, had a bit of a flight, got the same GPS error... came back did the spin at around 34ft landed and recalibrated. took off same height, did the spin... then flew off.. and got the same GPS error.

contacted the vendor, who think it's probably the drone, asked for flight info and are investigating.

A compass calibration will determine scale and bias numbers that are used to convert the raw mag data. These didn't change much as a result of the calibration that you did. Seems pretty clear that this Mavic is defective since the problems persist.
