Mavic dual - zoom images not capturing

I have a Mavic 2ED using a Smart Controller. The zoom function is present by rotating the right finger wheel. When reviewing my images, none of the zoomed pics were captured. I verified in video mode that it worked and captured correctly. Is there something I am missing ?

Unfortunately that’s the way it works which actually makes sense. All the system is doing in flight is a digital zoom in the display (M2ED doesn’t have optical zoom) to help you fly near tricky situations or get a closer look at a faint object. You can do the same, if not better in post by enlarging the image in Lightroom, PS, etc whatever u use. The M2ED is a utility drone, doesnt capture the best images.
