Thanks so much for your great comments. The Mavic really came though in pretty tough conditions - blowing sand, extreme heat. I did learn that you should probably not fly long distances in Sport mode in 90F+ heat. I got the Overheating Battery warning when I was about half way back from a 3+ mile trip out (not the flight shown in this video). Had to nurse it back in. It kept trying to force land but when it tried to touch down the sensor "read" that the ground was too uneven which allowed me to keep pushing it forward a little more. Otherwise it would have been a looong hike out to retrieve it)
