Mavic mini 2 or Mavic air

I am looking into my first drone and I noticed Dji's refurbished section on their website. The mavic Mini 2 isn't available refurbished on Dji's website but I noticed the mavic air was for only 499. Is the mavic air worth getting over the mavic Mini 2?

I would pick a mini 2 before a air 1 .
Mini 2 would have better range than the air1

I imagine they're both equally difficult to fly.

Yes, sorry for my first reply I was thinking Mini 2 or Mavic air "2" , Mini 2 is the better choice.. compared with the Mavic Air.

If you’re flying in windy conditions, the Air2 is the better choice. I would not recommend the Air1 over the Mini 2 however.
I started with a Mini 1 and, after 300 flights, sold it and just bought a DJI refurbished Air2. It looks like a brand new one. It’s even packaged like new. My experience with refurbished equipment has been good in past years, plus I saved $150.

Mini 2 Wind Stability Demo

I flew the Mini 2 in 15 mph winds yesterday and made this 13 sec video to show how it performed. Pretty amazing, really.

I find it pretty difficult to fault the Mini 2 for wind stability.

I have a BFP, an HP Z3200. I just printed a stitched pano image from my Mini 2. The file is 5000-odd pixels wide, so I decided to go for broke and print it 17X25 inches. It's superb! And it's now hanging on my office wall.

The Mini 2 continues to amaze.

Hello Lister. I have heard many good things about the Mini2. I watched your video and it’s very impressive with 15mph winds. I liked my Mini1 a lot but found that too often, when I wanted to fly, I couldn’t due to the wind. I understand the Mini2 is much better than the 1 in many ways but I after my research, I found most people thought the Air2 would be best for my application. Keep up the good work with your Mini2.
