Your arrow looks to be directly over the amberella image proc SOC, to the right in the RF shielded enclosure the main chip is an Atheros Wifi radio AR1021X-CL3D.Thanks for the pictures and info! Is it FCC model? Would you be so kind to share picture of rf part marked by red arrow?!!!
I tough it’s obvious that I was talking about missing part of the image (right side) where RF part of the board located sorry for my EnglishYour arrow looks to be directly over the amberella image proc SOC, to the right in the RF shielded enclosure the main chip is an Atheros Wifi radio AR1021X-CL3D.
Nothing wrong with your English- there is a lot to the right where the photo doesn't cover.I tough it’s obvious that I was talking about missing part of the image (right side) where RF part of the board located sorry for my English
I’m asking because on the CE board, above atheros is a missing(unsoldered )chip My guess - amplifier! So if on FCC the chip is there-thats the difference
so to be little bit more sure its easy to compare photos of CE and FCC boards but nobody does show fcc picture yetit seems DJI does not make different versions of the controller or aircraft- the radio performance it set for FCC/CE etc by firmware flashed at factory.
Yes you can . I'm working on adding additional batteries now... I've even replaced the 2500mah 18650 cells with 3500mah 18650cells. However no flight time was increased because the batteries I used were only rated for 10amps not 20amps... Looks like the best we can do for 20amps is 3000mah. That will at least put us in the 30+min flight time mark. Then add 2 3000mah 18650s on top, tapped into these solder points and we should be good for 45min +
You would need to connect your auxiliary cells in series and then in parallel with the B+ and ground connections from the OEM battery. Those solder pads are almost certainly for the logic circuits on the ESC board. Wrong voltage and on the wrong side of a voltage regulator to feed motor drive investor mosfets. If your lucky it will be a waste of time I suspect though your will end up killing components.Yes you can . I'm working on adding additional batteries now... Hello from Tampa, interested in your experiment! Would be awesome to achieve such a feat.
I'm eager to learn how I could make this happen myself. Please update me on your progress. Cheers!
Can I use that scheme + and - for fast charge of battery mavic mini with imax6b....Yes you can . I'm working on adding additional batteries now... I wouldn't because that won't Ballance the cellsCan I use that scheme + and - for fast charge of battery mavic mini with imax6b....
Can you help me ....suggestionsI wouldn't because that won't Ballance the cells
AR1021X-CL3D is dual-band, does it mean that we’ll be able to unlock the 2.4GHz through software?Your arrow looks to be directly over the amberella image proc SOC, to the right in the RF shielded enclosure the main chip is an Atheros Wifi radio AR1021X-CL3D.
We can only go by what DJI has revealed in the FCC certification submissions- the differences aren’t in hardware they are set in factory installed firmware. To the extent that might be able to be altered by the end user is, or at least seems to be at this point, unknown.AR1021X-CL3D is dual-band, does it mean that we’ll be able to unlock the 2.4GHz through software?
Very nice- where did you connect the power? Will perform a test flight tomorrow. But everything works perfectly...
Nice.....I soldered onto the 2 pins. Unlike the mavic pro, you can plug the battery in whenever you want. Just can't fly it without a stock battery in. If you try that, you get power error.
