Mavic Mini Controller

Hello, I’m helping a friend set up a Mavic Mini for his son and I realize that the hole that the lighting connector goes thru to connect to iphone does not have a little plastic insert, like on the Mavic Air controller. Did DJI remove this little plastic insert piece on the controller, which seems to give the wire a “ tighter fit”

He did buy the mini fly more kit, but says there was no bag with two small pieces in it. Thank you

I didn't receive anything either. A quick look at the DJI layout of the fly more packet doesn't show them either. I tried a few extras from my Pro and 2 and those don't fit any of the cables. FWIW, I find it easier to plug in my phone without them.

I found those little slide adapters with my Zoom incredibly fiddly and pretty useless!

no issues noted with supplied cables from phone to mini controller after several months. may not be an actual issue you need to worry about.
