I live at 3000 meters (9800 ft) in the Peruvian Andes. The MM flies here without problems, only battery life is about 18-20 minutes with DJI Fly app and around 15 minutes with Litchi app (beta) (apps on iOS).
Yesterday I tried the propeller guards: It works, but you can visibly see how hard it is for the MM to lift off and move around with the extra "payload".
