Mavic Mini Satellite Connection Issues

I don't know if I am posting this in the right section but I am asking this for a friend. We both have a Mavic Mini, but his started having issues this month with connecting to satellites. His takes a while to connect and only to 7 when before he would connect to 13 satellites. Mine works fine and connects to plenty. Has anyone had this issue?

could be a faulty GPS module in the drone ,or has he fitted anything that could block the signal to the GPS

He doesn't have anything to block the signal but it could be a faulty GPS module.
