Mavic mini stuck in payload mode

Hello to all.
I am a new guy to droning. I have about 9 hrs. of drone time with my mini. I went to fly today and I could only fly 163 ft. from home in straight and level flight. I got a message saying I had reached maximum distance. I checked my payload setting and it was disabled. does anyone have an idea what's up?

Just check you haven't done what I did on one of my early flights and accidentally moved the maximum distance slider . I set mine to about 80 feet! And it took me ages to discover the problem!

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked that it wasn't the problem. I never rebooted I was out of batt so went home. I will re-install thew app.

Hi @Mike OD. i assume you did not have the prop guards on at the time, or any additional payload attached to the drone ,check that payload mode is disabled in the app

Welcome to the forum.

Double and triple check your maximum height and distance settings.
I didn't at first, and it wasn't going to go very far.

Had the same problem. It fixed itself, after rebooting the RC, same distance limit was imposed.

Mine did this once with aftermarket props. Carbon fiber type. I had to get rid of them.
