certainly not - i was hovering at approx 10 feet and gently bringing the drone lower to go under the jetty. It sat hovering for 10 seconds or so but then dropped on its own - I pressed the "up" joystick (frantically) for some time and it finally went up. I was so close to losing it and then flew it straight back to the beach to check it out. The bottom of the drone was wet!. I was very lucky. You may have noticed I was also flying over a fast flowing river at 1:33 in another location - the drone went crazy and had a mind of its own - it flew left and up towards the suspension bridge - I lost sight of it behind a tree and again realised I was too low over water. Lesson learnt - do not fly low over water. Its rock solid above 15ft.
