Mavic Pilots in the Philippines

Do we need permission from CAAP to bring sUAV's in the Phil?
If so, can someone provide a link or email address to contact.
I've heard from some folks that incoming tourists are subjected to import tax of no authorization.
Any drones flyers or currently vacationing there w/ your sUAV's confirmed this, going there next month and don't want any surprises @ custom.

Worth noting the 10km from airport rule eliminates a lot of smaller islands.
Also certain areas require a permit (Boracay island, Batanes etc) which like everything in the Philippines, costs money.
Boracay in particular they're enforcing the system ruthlessly, ive seen a lot of fines issued on a daily basis.

Hello to all.

New Mavic forumer here but without a Mavic yet.

Joined the forum to get more information before pulling the plug. Now deciding between the MM or the MA2. The portability of the MM is the main advantage while the tech features of the MA2 is attractive. However, for my needs and purposes, it looks like the MM is adequate.

Just a casual, non professional, fun and leisure drone operator from Laguna

Stay safe all and hope to chime in again as soon as I get my drone.

Just an update.

I decided to get the MM. The 3Ps did it - Portability, Practicality and Price.

I was able to revive my old Lowepro camera bag. Fits the MM, remote, batteries, wires, charging unit and even the other accessories.
