Hi guys. Want to know what should be done to pass my year old mavic to a new owner. I must reset it but i'm not sure how to properly do it without affect firmware 1.04.

Nothing.
The new owner will simply sign in under their account.
The aircraft will already be activated.

If you registered the drone you can cancel it on your Faa account so thenew owner can register it in his/her name

Probably not a lot of info in the aircraft that would be of service to the next guy. Remove or delete whatever you can, then send it off.
