After flying with my Mavic today, I noticed that the antenna, or what I presume is the antenna, was visible on the right landing gear, clearly expanding the plastic. Is this normal? I’ve never seen it before, maybe because I’ve never noticed?

I think that you probably never noticed it before. There is nothing inside that creates heat, and thats not a common "cracked leg" as many users have found. Maybe just a manufacturing defect.
Is it difficult to calibrate your compass or are you getting any compass error messages? If not, just keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse.
