ok so tried the dacckit case and not a fan. That thing will crush my baby. So I think the best case is still the little shell it comes in. I think the Mavic Pro bag may work. Has anyone used it with the Mavic Air?

saw a few posts but the replies dropped dead

I'm using the little shell case for the air but putting it in the fly more case. Perfect solution. The drone itself is more protected in the shell but with the bag I can fit all batteries and controller. Even use my iPhone 8 plus as the dedicated drone controller since I have the x now and the 8 plus fits right into the sleeve of the shell case

Oh yes. Forgot to mention that. Took out the dividers. Except for the side one to hold the remote

I've bought a little bag and it's perfect. It can take the drone into its shell, the controller (separated by the bag's mobile frames), two batteries other than the one in the drone) and the propellers protectors (disassembled).
In this way I put the bag into a backpack and by my motorcycle I can carry the Air with all the necessary stuff easily everywhere!

Mavic Air shell in Mavic Pro bag. Couldn't be a more perfect marriage. I've been doing this since day one. The MA bag has become my support bag for all my quads, holding power supplies for Spark, MP, and MA.

the mavic pro bag works. its what i use. and also you can fit the air shell in also.

yes batteries fit in the front pocket...

i wouldnt say pile in but they do not have their own slots.
