I think that cardboard is better than lithium-ion
Now that the cats out of the bag, tell us... what's in it for you? I don't think Titan is a bad company so I am pretty sure they didn't put you up to this to pump their product. I don't think you're affiliated with Titan either. So what's the story? Just for laughs? Cause $100 ain't no skin off my back to prove to everyone you're a BS-er.
Are we 100% sure he's full of BS? I mean he's a reputable forum member? I just don't see him pulling this as a stunt or a joke.
Is it possible Ed209 that something he's doing is different?
If he were a new member I wouldn't be shocked?
I did call this for the record early on. But I was kidding mostly.
I always give benefit of the doubt but just look at the history. A low res screen grab, unable to produce any data, then asking for other members to backup his claim by testing for themselves.
How many times did he say he was gonna test it again? When we held his hand on getting AirData setup, he mysteriously can't find the logs and posts other flights nobody cares about because we want to see the data from that "52 min flight". Then promises to do another run yesterday and posts more flights nobody cares about with his mad dog battery.
If he was legit he would have proved us wrong by now. And I highly doubt he's doing anything different unless it is some outside the box mistake and not something he did on purpose. I doubt he has the skills to program an arduino nano, a pixhawk, and write code to fool the battery management system so it can run on these packs.
And even if someone did do that, we still haven't seen any type of actual flight times with these cells in this configuration.
I too thought this was real. However, I waited until other tried it. You seem like a smart dude, why did you fall for it? Was there part of you that thought this might be possible?

I surely thought that it was possible, why would he lie! Like you said he is a reputable forum member! I bought a battery because I wanted to and I am going to try for myself. I will not be mad at if it does not give me what I want. Part of the fun of this hobby is to try new things for yourself and analyze the results. It makes you better because you gain more experience. It was only a $50 battery and look how much entertainment we already got out it. If it doesn't work I'll through it in the box with all the other crap that someone told me was great but wasn't. Welcome to life!I mean he's a reputable forum member? I just don't see him pulling this as a stunt or a joke.
I bout mine for $47What are you talking about $100 the battery only cost 47

Bum deal....Yo DJ. Forget about the 7000 test bro. I just did 97min with this!
Benefit of doubt...yes.What are you talking about $100 the battery only cost 47
I do agree, as you know i have similar with airdata.. so yip benefit of doubt...Need to remember to press Screen Record also, hey but thats just me...Benefit of doubt...yes.
I too had issues uploading and displaying stuff on airdata, logs would only show in firefox?! Yesterday i did a 34000' testrun with Cyclone antenna (thankfully decided to make screenshot just over 10km out) but the go4 crashed on me, could not find logs back.
Dj, that flight with the small titan pack n windsurfers: 12.5k' and 22.5 mins still marginal. With a single 2200 lipo i still get over 25 min.
You guys don't pay attention. I said numerous times I bought TWO. I'm not complaining about money. I'll believe it when I see it DJ.
