I have a Mavic Pro that got hung up in a tree. The wind finally blew it down. On the way down, a branch or 2 ripped thru the gimbal wires and cut them. It also broke one of the arm attachments in the sudden stop. I have amazingly replaced the wires and the gimbal works fine. The arm attachment was a lot easier to replace. The AC also flies fine. The only issue is it can't see anything. The camera is dead. I would think the camera would have sustained physical damage to cause it to stop working, but it is totally without any dents or scratches. The camera remained operational for a while in the tree, but I don't know if it was still running when it fell. If it was, there was power in the wires and that may have caused a short and burned something out on the board. But it could have also shorted voltage to the wrong wires to the camera. Is there any tricks to figure this out or assuming I replaced the camera wires properly, and I believe I did, what would be the best bet to replace, the camera or the interface board?
Thanks for any clues...........

Might be time to replace the drone. It's long past its useful life. Lots of newer better options available, new and used, that would be quicker and cheaper, with major upgrades, over trying to fix a crashed Mavic Pro with a dead camera.

Did you replace all the silicone you removed from the connections? If not that’s your problem. The connections will not stay in place without the silicone. You should also have put a little thermal paste on the board BEFORE replacing the bottom cover. The paste MUST touch the heat sinks on the body or your VTX (video transmitter) will fry and you will have to replace it.DO NOT USE HARDWARE STORE SILICONE USE ONLY KINGBOXER!

thanks, it has been a while since I did that, but if there was a heat sink I would have refixed it - I have lots of heat sink paste

I have a Mavic 2 Zoom - the Mavic Pro was given to me after my neighbor found it on the ground. His friend was the owner and had bought a new drone. I hate to throw things away if they can be fixed.
